Village perched on the hills |
Between the banks of the Aussoue and the Save valley, Saint-Frajou is a small village in the canton of l'Isle-en-Dodon perched on a hillside. It is the smallest village owning a museum of paintings... |
This pretty little village of about 200 inhabitants have a fitted out lake around which it is pleasant to walk; it takes about 2 hours to go around on foot. Other circuits on the paths of ridge or around close lakes (Saint-André, Gimone, Astarac) or in the forests nearby like Fabas, call hikers... On Random walks one can meet a furtive wildlife, deer, hares, wild boars, squirrels, foxes and of course… farm animals, cows, pigs, sheep, goats, horses and… even if you move a little, llamas, ostriches ... |
